Daniel Sand and Louise Dufwa have developed their own cosmetic products, some of which are based on blue berry extracts
Young Swedish Talents
Two models are conquering the international cosmetics cosmos with their unique products made from berry extracts
Swedish people are renowned for their natural beauty. Nevertheless, they give skin care its fair share too. To Daniel Sand and Louise Dufwa, cosmetics have always been an important part of their business. The two models have now developed their own cosmetics line KEB, consisting of nine different products including nutritional supplements.
What does KEB stand for, and why did you choose this name?
Louise Dufwa: KEB is the abbreviation of Kebnekaise, the highest mountain in Sweden, which we climbed together. On the mountain’s flanks, we found arctic berries that have become one of the essential ingredients of our products.
Why are these berries so special?
Daniel Sand: The inhabitants living in the vicinity of the mountain Kebnekaise told us that these berries had extraordinary qualities. They are for example resistant to environmental influences and can bear temperatures of up to minus 50 degrees Celsius. We use the berry’s seed oil because it is very rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and natural antioxidants, and has moisturising effects.
Are you planning to enlarge your range of products?
Louise Dufwa: We have just launched a hair and body cosmetics line for hotels. Currently, we are working on a sun protection line that contains arctic ingredients.
For the care of dry or oily skin: “Intense Moisturising Cream”, 50 ml, and “Oil Control Moisturising Cream”.
